Livet efter Catwalk

Documentaries

In the film and series “Catwalk – From Glada Hudik to New York,” we met Emma Örtlund who dreamed of becoming a model and walking a catwalk.

With the help of Glada Hudik Theatre’s founder Pär Johansson, Emma and her friends Ida Johansson, Kitty Jonsson, Alexander Rådlund, and Nicklas Hillberg made it all the way to New York, where they held a memorable catwalk show.

Now, the ensemble is back in a new film about how their lives have been shaped after their international success. This time, they are rehearsing for a major gala at the packed Avicii Arena. We see the acclaimed group once again perform a fashion show, and Emma Örtlund concludes the event with a fiery speech in front of the entire arena.

Additionally, the film and series “Catwalk” has inspired educational use in schools, involving over 130,000 students in a program about the film and everyone’s right to shine.

“The work against prejudice, narrow-mindedness, and hatred never stops but continues 365 days a year. We want to tell and show how to turn this into understanding and friendship. Together, we want to set new goals that shape the future,” says Pär Johansson.

Premiering on Viaplay on June 4th. 1 episode 60 minutes.
